To keep up with the changing market trends, two-wheeler manufacturers are now adapting their products and features to best cater to this new demand.
“The future of sustainable mobility lies in electric two-wheelers.”
Manufacturers like Hero Electric, Bajaj Auto, and TVS Motors have already set their foot in the electric two-wheeler market. In fact, Hero Electric offers more than ten electric scooter models, which caters to different requirements, budgets, and uses. TVS Motors offers electric mobility through its iQube Electric scooter, which offers a top speed of 78 Km/h and a range of 75 km.
With the rise of the charging station market, manufacturers are starting to adapt their existing product lines to cater to electric vehicles. Hero Electric has introduced two new electric motorcycles – the AE47 and AE50 – and expanded its product line with two new electric bicycles. Similarly, Bajaj Auto is set to launch its first electric scooter, fittingly named ""Chetak Electric"" in early 2022.
With the rise of electric two-wheelers and the subsequent demand for charging stations, the sustainable transportation landscape is gradually but surely changing. As manufacturers adapt to the new trends, we can expect more affordable and convenient electric two-wheelers to hit the market in the near future.
